An exciting new chapter in the saga of Dirk Hartog Island National Park’s Return to 1616 Ecological Restoration Project begins with the reintroduction of two new native animals. Enter the humble dibbler (Parantechinus apicalis) and the smallest of all bandicoots – the Shark Bay bandicoot (Perameles bougainville).
